About Us

Jess & I have been married for about 5 years, and we have three beautiful kids. We live on a family farm in Kuna, ID and wouldn't change a single thing about that! The ups and downs of farm life far outweigh being in a neighborhood, in our opinion. Especially with all of these dogs! I (Mark) work full time in the accounting department at a local hospice company, and my wife (Jess) stays home with the kids & dogs.

A couple of months into our marriage I convinced my wife to let me get a golden retriever. We were lucky enough to find Quincy, a beautiful 10 month old golden being re-homed. At that point, we didn't really know what we were getting into. Then, we were thinking we will have 2-3 litters and be done. ha!

After our first litter, we knew this is something that we wanted to do for the long haul. We were hooked! We loved being able to raise them in our home, and after we started having kids we knew it would be something they could be a part of. Something about kids and puppies is also the sweetest thing ever!

We work hard to make sure that our dogs have the best life they can. Nutrition, veterinary care, exercise, health, and lots of socialization and attention are at the center of our program. We are not perfect, but strive to make sure we are doing things the right way. Breeding is something we know should not be taken lightly & we are working on taking the steps to make our breeding program better and better with each litter of golden pups.
